News and Events

The club held the spring meeting at the Doubletree restaurant in Platteville.  A great lunch was provided and enjoyed by all.  The meeting came to order by club president, Steve Sorenson.  Items discussed:

• Treasurer's report by Gail Harmon - in summary the club is in good financial shape considering the expenses this winter to refurbish the sled and other equipment.  We will start off the season with a balance just under last year but still very much in the black.
• Steve gave an update on the work done to equipment this winter.  Thanks to all who participated in that project.
• Elmer reported that Ray M. is doing good but couldn't make it out to the meeting.  Ray has our prayers and hope to see him at pulls this season.
• A few new proposals were brought up and voted on:
• Approved - to allow DIV II tractors up to and including year 1959.
• Approved - to discontinue the Antique Class.  There were very few entries and unused awards were getting expensive.  Those older tractors can pull in DIV I or II.
• the 2010 schedule was finalized.  See the SCHEDULE page for details.
